Our Mission

Making the grid ready for the EV revolution

The GREET initiative focuses on the seamless integration of electric vehicles into power grids — addressing the technological, societal and policy challenges that stand between India and its goal of 30% EV penetration by 2030.

  • Developing smart, universal charging infrastructure for mass EV adoption across 2W, 3W and 4W vehicles.
  • Advancing Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) bidirectional energy systems and ancillary services.
  • Assessing grid impacts and developing power-quality and cybersecurity mitigation strategies.
  • Formulating policy and skilling frameworks for an inclusive, sustainable EV transition.
